1. Sound Story (based on children's book or original story) This is a group project and all work can be done in class. Students will narrate and use the DGX500 pianos to add sound effects and underscoring to their selection. Will be performed for the class.

2. Composer/Famous Pianist Biography (done as a powerpoint presentation) Students will need a CD or a memory stick to use for this project and they will need to provide an example of the composers' music to be played during the presentation.

3. National and International Piano Design! Create a model of a piano from another country! Students may also choose a city or state in the USA. Fun and interesting facts about the country must be included creatively in this project.
