The Johnston Middle School Orchestra is looking for string players! Do you want to be a part of the greatest middle school orchestra in the city? You have found it!

Our orchestra department consists of the Advanced, Intermediate, Beginning levels and also an ensemble class. Our orchestra department, under the direction of Dr. Kathryn Brown, has won sweepstakes at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest for 23 straight years. That is a perfect score across the board!

Orchestra students participate in UIL Solo and Ensemble, UIL Concert and Sightreading, UIL Region Orchestra, School Concerts, and are in demand throughout the district, city, state, and nationally as a premiere orchestra.
