Johnston Middle School had two students place in the Scholastic Art competition! Ariana Gomez, an eighth grader, was awarded a Gold Key, a top honor, for her work "Serenity" and Miguel Arradonda, also an eighth grader, was awarded a Silver Key for his work "Hand."

This is truly quite an accomplishment! Congratulations to both students and their teacher, Ms. Christina Guitierrez.
