Recently, a number of Johnston students submitted projects for an IMPACT II competition at the HISD headquarters and Johnston Middle School is proud to announce the following results!
In the category for Original Academic Game, the Johnston students took four of the six awards. These included 1st Place: Mia Corkill, 2nd Place: Faith Dagohoy and Tasha Roshan, 3rd Place: Steffanie Alter 4th Place: Saul Moreno.
In the Category for Most Outstanding Original Performance, Colby Canterbury was the only Middle School student listed.
In the Category for Invention that solves a problem or makes life easier, JMS took three of the places, including 1st and 2nd. The winners include: 1st Place: Alec Blanchard, 2nd Place James LeBlanc, and 5th place: Ryan Hoerner-Cernosek.
Congratulations to these students and to all of the others who submitted their work! We have the most outstanding students at Johnston Middle School and we are very proud pf them!
