Come “Dance with the Stars” at Johnston Middle School! We have a wonderful dance studio where students can learn ballet, modern, and jazz, with many opportunities for performance. The dance department also takes beginners to the art.

The dance classes at Johnston are designed to provide the students with a foundation in classic dance techniques which can carry him/her on and help make them more successful should he/she choose to continue in this area.

The dancers are working diligently to prepare for the Concert Season at Johnston Middle School. On December 6, 2007, the dancers will, along with students from the Handbells, Harp, Guitar, and Piano departments, perform in the annual “Ensemble Concert”. This is truly a collaborative effort involving only live music. Please join us at 7 pm in the Johnston auditorium for a night of magic!
